Ali Ahmadzai is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 35 years of healthcare experience, including 20 years in the medical and Neuro intensive care units at the University of California San Diego Medical Center (UCSDMC). He now focuses on comprehensive family practice, with an emphasis on preventive health, wellness, and chronic disease management.

Mr. Ahmadzai earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chapman University in Irvine, California, and completed his family practice training in the Greater Los Angeles area. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

He provides care for patients of all ages and backgrounds, with experience in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and wound care. His approach centers on patient partnership and individualized care, ensuring each patient feels heard, supported, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions.

Mr. Ahmadzai has spent much of his career serving underserved communities, such as Skid Row in Los Angeles. For the past 20 years, he has lived in San Diego and remains committed to serving the local community.

His academic work includes a research project called "Evaluating the State Anxiety of Patients' Families Pre/Post Inclusion on Rounds." published through ProQuest in 2021.
